blogger overhaul
ok, i still have some background tweeking to do, but it's looking good right now. If anyone knows how to add space between the sidebar(s) and the entries PLEASE let me know! :)
Welcome to my studio!
My bedroom is a multi-purpose area. It's my computer room, tv room, dog sleep space, my sleep space, sitting room, storage area, and lately my "studio".
So come on in.
If you remember from previous posts, I used to have the dog kennels in my room. Well, since Koda has moved in with my sister and her apartment I decided it would be a good time to relocate the kennels down stairs. To make room in our living room, one part of the sectional couch was moved upstairs. It is a wonderful place to sit and watch tv, check my e-mail or make collars (or all at the same time). It's also a good place for the dogs to sleep, as Shiner's demonstrating.
Here we are in "workshop" mode.
Altho, it doesn't look like Shiner's going to let me get any work done today.
I'm too cute to move!
Trophy says he's still handsome as evar!
And Qwill, who didn't want to be left out, but is still miffed that i yelled at him for jumping on me and knocking down a load of laundry. silly boy.
IN SUPER EXCITING NEWS: Shiner has a recall! It's not 100% reliable, as our walk around the pond yesterday demonstrated (the call of goose poop and deer turds were far greater than my yumalicious treats). *sigh* BUT, It's a huge improvement over last fall when he would run in terror in the opposite direction despite handfulls of treats.

We're Not Dead! Promise!
I apologize for our total lack of updates! My computer, which had been in various stages of a drawn-out death crashed 10 days ago and after a lot of problems trying to rescue my pictures (most had been backed up, but there was about a weeks worth of new photos i hadn't yet made copies of) and then more problems trying to wipe it clean, well... i just got her back! I'm trying to reinstall everything i need, but we're back now!
Now, a nearly one month overdue post:
Shiner's Gotcha Day Pup-Cake
On his Gotcha Day, Shiner and I braved his extreme carsickness to take the trip to the Grateful Dog Bakery in North Ridgeville Ohio to get his free pup-cake!
He was a bit miffed that he had to share, but Koda didn't get a sprikle to make up for it. Besides, I told them they would share on their birth- and gotcha- days, so he had to share now.

Trophy cleans up the crumbs while Qwill hopes in vain that it was just the appetizer for the full meal.

And speaking of Shiner's special day(s), we recieved our trophy (not Trophy) from his third place win at MangoMinster 2009!!
Isn't it gorgeous?!
Shiner knows he all that and a bag of chips. ;-) We can't wait till next year, it was so much fun!
Maybe I shouldn't complain about Shiner's inability to do...anything... he won a trophy for the trophy shelf before well, Trophy! (maybe naming a dog Trophy wasn't such a good idea after all?)
